First of all open your VLC Media Player.
Then click on Media Menu.
Then click on Open Network Stream or press Ctrl + N.

Now open youtube and search your favorite video which you like to watch.
Then Copy that video url 

Then paste it on that VLC Network.

Then click on press button.
