The story is about Fernandez gang. The family is poor and huge. The family quite recently moved to New York from Pureto Rico. The family is poor to the point that it needs to offer all its property just to meet the expense of the travel. The family has moved to New York with the trust of landing great position and gaining some cash.
The family has a unique pet named Joncrofo. The mother had purchased it with the trust that the hen will lay eggs and she will have the capacity to bolster her family with crisp eggs. The neighboring kids have a considerable measure of plaything, yet the Fernandez youngsters don't have any play things. They have recently Joncrofo and the youngsters are glad for it, the neighboring kids have a considerable measure of plaything, yet they don't have Joncrofo. There is the nearby, warm and insinuate relationship in the middle of Joncrofo and the Fernandez kids.
Indeed, even in New York the family is not ready to spare cash. What it procures is all spent, Christmas is coming and the kitchen store is as of now purge. Time has sought Joncrofo to lay eggs, yet the hen does not. The mother satisfies all the conceivable treatment yet they are of no utilization.
The mother can not murder Joncrofo in the vicinity of the youngsters. So she sends them away to play on the ground.
