Concrete Cat

Concrete poem is a poem made for the eyes. The physical appearance of this poem is our chief corner. we neither concern much with the ideas or emotions nor with the language. The reduced language of the words which gives the shape of the concrete cat is significant. It is a good example of a concrete poem because it has shown catness of cat by the help ofletter.
The capital letter 'A' in ear indicates its active ear, 'Y' in eye indicates wide eye, 'U' in mouth indicates shape of the tongue. The space between the letter in its tail indicates that the tail is stretchde. Moreover, the mouse is upside down means the cat has killed the mouse.
In the body patr poet has mand a pun on stripes. The world can give us two meaning as tripes ans stripes. It is the only place where language aspires towards poetry and becomes figurative. Therefore 'Concrete Cat' is an example of concrete poem.
