Dialogue By: Cat Stevens
It is the dialogue between the father and the son. The father is giving suggestions to the son. The father says that the son is still young. It is the problem with him. The son has not yet known the life and the world. The father says he is happy because he is old. The father's request the son to change his decision.
The father has the same suggestion's to repeat. The son is fed up with the same old suggestions. The son has been listening what the father says. The son has a lot of complaining and dissatisfaction. Where never he try's to express his complains his father just turns away his head. There is no-one to listen to him. The son has kept all his complains and dissatisfaction within himself. He just can't ignore them. He would follow the father if he were right. That's why the son has taken a painful decision to leave the house.
We find the conflict between the old generation and the young generation. The problem is the generation gap. There is the misunderstanding between old and the new generation. The generation gap is the universal problem. Only the degree is different. Here the father had the habit of imposing his order which the son does not like.
